Week 5

Dear parents, This week we read Journeys lesson 4, about helping out in our community. We are almost with our math units and wrapped up our study in science of the three states of matter. It is hard to believe that the first review exams will be in less than two weeks! Several of our 4th graders will also be participating in this Saturday's Taipei Drama Competition. They have worked so hard over the past month and we all wish them the best of luck! Have a great weekend, Mr. Stark

Dear parents, This week we finished another unit in Journeys and vocab. There was no grammar test this week but we had a spelling test on Friday. The grammar test will be next week instead. Our drama team has been working hard to prepare for the upcoming Taipei drama competition on the 29th of this month. I am very proud of all they've done! Have a great long weekend. Happy Moon Festival! Mr. Stark

Week 2

Dear parents, This marks the conclusion of our first full week together. I am so proud of and impressed by many of my new students' abilities! We finished our first Journeys lesson, about a famous actress who just wants to be a normal kid. In math, we got through 4 lessons, and in science we discussed the three states of matter. Students also learned about the 4th grade test format and have been adjusting nicely. I look forward to seeing what else they are capable of! Have a great weekend, Mr. Stark
